New News......
- Families, Please find the January Advanced Learning Newsletter at this link.
- New After School Club at Randall:
Dear Families:
Is your Randall student a big fan of Greek and Roman Mythology? Do they enjoy books by Rick Riordan?
If they are, we have a new after-school opportunity for them -- Mythology club, which will begin on January 26, 2023. We’ll be meeting Thursday afternoons from 2:40-3:30 to learn about mythological heroes, gods and monsters and also pick up some Latin vocabulary. Our first session will last 6 weeks, meeting on January 26, February 2, February 9, February 16, and February 23. Mythology club will be led by Marissa Gurtler, a PhD student at UW-Madison, with support from Amy Rountree, the Advanced Learning specialist at Randall.
If your student would like to try this activity, please fill out this form. If you have any questions, please contact Amy Rountree at aerountree@madison.k12.wi.us, or (608)204-3337.
